Duke Road Facility: Sharing important information

Shortly before the CCNA meeting at the end of February, residents were notified of a request for a Conditional Use Permit for a care facility at 319 Duke Road. At the meeting, the CEO of Roaring Brook Recovery, Victor Rivera, was present to give more information about the facility, and he took questions from neighborhood residents.

The LFUCG Board of Adjustment met on April 13th to discuss the matter. Roaring Brook representatives presented their case, and a number of residents voiced their opposition or concerns. The board approved the Conditional Use Permit – you can read the minutes of the meeting, and their reasoning, by clicking here.

CCNA takes no position on the Conditional Use Permit for 319 Duke, but we want to promote communication and education about matters that affect our residents and neighbors.

Here is some additional information being provided by various parties on this matter. CCNA has not verified the accuracy of any claims, but presents this as a resource for neighbors to consider.
